I believe healing happens through relationships and connection. My relationships with my patients are sacred—built on trust, honesty, and deep care. Within the boundaries of the therapeutic relationship, there is space for vulnerability and transformation.
Medicine isn’t just about discoveries from the 1800s or the latest pharmaceuticals. When you study ancient practices—Chinese, Ayurvedic, Native American medicine, and European herbalism—you begin to see patterns that transcend culture and time. These traditions teach us that healing is a holistic process, deeply rooted in balance and alignment.
Conventional medicine excels in emergencies, acute conditions, and critical care. But when it comes to chronic issues like autoimmune disorders, hormonal imbalances, fatigue, and mental health challenges, conventional treatments often fall short. Medications and surgeries may suppress symptoms but rarely address the root cause. Worse, they can sometimes hinder the body’s natural ability to heal.
Naturopathic medicine takes a different approach. By optimizing nutrition, improving gut health, and addressing underlying deficiencies, we support the body’s innate healing process. Instead of just treating symptoms, we seek to uncover and resolve the root causes of illness—long before they escalate into serious conditions.
I believe that by removing the obstacles to wellness, you can reclaim a life of vitality, joy, and purpose. I’ve helped many people gain the knowledge and tools they need to heal and thrive, and I look forward to helping you do the same.

What is naturopathic medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a system of healthcare that combines modern medical science with traditional natural therapies. It aims to treat the root causes of illness, support the body's natural healing ability, and address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
What is the difference between a naturopath and a naturopathic doctor (ND)?
A licensed naturopathic doctor (ND) completes four years of post-graduate medical education and board exams. A naturopath may refer to someone with informal or non-accredited training and is not licensed to diagnose or treat in Washington.
What is a naturopathic physician?
A naturopathic physician is a licensed ND who has completed a 4-year accredited naturopathic medical school, passed national board exams, and is licensed to diagnose, prescribe, and treat in states like Washington.
How are naturopathic doctors trained?
Licensed NDs complete at least 8 years of education including a pre-med degree and 4-year naturopathic medical program. This includes over 4,100 hours of coursework and 1,500+ hours of supervised clinical training. With the addition of residency, I have completed over 7,500 supervised clinical hours across diverse populations and specialties.
Are naturopathic doctors licensed?
Yes. In Washington, NDs are licensed by the state and regulated as primary care providers. Continuing education is required to maintain licensure.
Is naturopathic medicine safe?
When provided by a licensed ND, naturopathic care is very safe. Treatments are natural, non-invasive, and supported by training in pharmacology and diagnostics. Unlicensed practice is not recommended.
Is naturopathic medicine evidence-based and scientific?
Yes. Licensed NDs rely on peer-reviewed research and clinical evidence while incorporating holistic, time-tested healing systems. Many therapies, like fish oil, probiotics, and vitamin D, have extensive clinical research backing.
What can naturopathic doctors not do?
NDs in Washington do not perform major surgery or prescribe certain controlled substances. They are trained to know when referral to another provider is needed.
What are the beliefs or philosophy behind naturopathy?
We believe that health is a dynamic process and symptoms are signs of deeper imbalances. Our approach honors your body’s wisdom and centers you as the expert of your experience.
Can a naturopathic doctor diagnose medical conditions?
Yes. Licensed NDs in Washington are trained and authorized to diagnose conditions using exams, labs, and imaging.
Can naturopathic doctors prescribe medications?
Yes. In Washington, NDs can prescribe many pharmaceuticals, including hormones, antibiotics, and thyroid medications.
Can naturopathic doctors order lab tests or imaging?
Yes. NDs can order blood tests, hormone panels, stool tests, imaging studies, and more.
Do you offer primary care or specialty care?
We provide both primary care and specialty care, particularly for chronic illness, autoimmune disease, fatigue, hormones, and digestive disorders.
What conditions do you treat?
We work with a wide range of conditions. See the Conditions We Support section below for more details.
Do you accept insurance?
We are a cash-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. Superbills are provided for out-of-network reimbursement. Many patients use HSA/FSA funds.
Will insurance cover my visit?
Some insurance plans may reimburse you for naturopathic care. Contact your plan to verify out-of-network coverage.
What are your fees for naturopathic visits?
Initial visits are typically 75–90 minutes and follow-ups are 30–60 minutes. A full fee schedule is available upon request.
Do you offer payment plans or sliding scale options?
We do our best to accommodate financial need. Please reach out if you'd like to discuss options.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee.
What can I expect at my first visit?
We’ll explore your health history, concerns, and goals in depth. You'll leave with a customized treatment plan and next steps.
What do I bring to my appointment?
Bring recent labs, a list of medications and supplements, and completed intake forms if available.
How long does it take to see results?
This varies. Some feel better quickly, while deeper healing may take more time. We adjust care as you progress.
Do you offer virtual or in-person visits?
Yes. We offer both secure telehealth and in-person visits at our Washington-based clinic.
How do I book an appointment or become a new patient?
You can schedule online, call the clinic, or fill out our contact form. We look forward to supporting you.
Can naturopathic doctors help with hormone imbalances?
Yes. We work to identify the root causes of hormonal imbalances—such as gut health, stress, or thyroid function—and treat with individualized support using lab testing, herbs, nutrients, and lifestyle strategies.
Can a naturopath help with IBS or digestive issues?
Absolutely. We use functional testing, nutritional therapy, and herbal medicine to address gut health, inflammation, dysbiosis, and motility issues.
Can a naturopath help with fatigue?
Yes. We investigate root causes such as nutrient deficiencies, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal dysregulation, infections, or poor sleep and develop a personalized plan to restore energy.
Do you work with anxiety or depression?
We offer integrative support for mood concerns using nutrition, herbs, mindfulness strategies, trauma-informed counseling, and collaboration with mental health professionals.
Can you support fertility, pregnancy, or postpartum care?
Licensed naturopathic doctors in Washington are not permitted to provide formal prenatal care, attend births, or perform postpartum exams unless they are also licensed midwives. While naturopathic physicians are recognized as primary care providers in Washington, pregnancy-related care is outside the legal scope of practice unless dual licensure is held.
However, NDs can support fertility, hormonal balance, nutrition, and general wellness during pregnancy as part of a collaborative care team. We often work alongside midwives and obstetricians to provide safe, integrative support during this time.
Do you treat autoimmune conditions?
Yes. We specialize in autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto’s, Sjögren’s, lupus, and more—focusing on immune regulation, inflammation reduction, and whole-person healing.
Do you treat musculoskeletal pain and injuries?
Yes. I offer physical medicine, injection therapy, and regenerative support for joint pain, injuries, and chronic pain. This includes peptides, soft tissue therapy, manual adjustments, and nutritional support to accelerate tissue healing and reduce inflammation.
Do you work with patients undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment?
Yes. I offer evidence-informed, integrative support for patients navigating or recovering from cancer care. My goal is to reduce side effects, strengthen your system, and help you rebuild energy and resilience through personalized natural therapies. I collaborate with oncology teams to ensure your care is coordinated and safe.
Do you treat post-viral illness or long COVID?
Yes. I specialize in post-infectious syndromes, including long COVID, post-Lyme, and chronic fatigue. My approach combines immune modulation, mitochondrial and nervous system support, and personalized protocols to help you recover function and resilience.
